Behind the potter’s wheel Mon 2, 9, 16 and 23 Get acquainted with the potter’s wheel at EZ Art Pottery Studio where they’re hosting an open studio which welcomes all levels. New methods will be demonstrated and technical support is given from 10am to 3pm each Monday. It’s BD30 for four sessions. Call 1759 1585.
The art of mosaics for kids Thu 5, 12, 19 and 26 Kids get crafty at EZ Art Pottery Studio where they’ll learn how to create objects from clay, as well as make a mosaic project from a huge range of pre-cut coloured tiles. From 3.30pm to 5pm kids aged four to eight can join in for BD30 (four sessions), then from 5pm to 7pm children from nine to 13 can get involved for BD35 (four sessions). Call 1759 1585.
Junior desert survival adventures Sun 15 and Mon 16, Tue 17 and Wed 18 Kids aged seven to eight can join Tribal Fitness for a two-day adventure in the desert to learn safe fire lighting, shelter building and trapping skills for BD75. Tai Chi for Chinese New Year Thu 19 The Royal Sporting Club at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain is hosting a complimentary Tai Chi session at Seabreeze to fight stress, improve flexibility and balance, and to mark Chinese New Year. Get your aquathlon on Fri 20 If you like swimming and running, then pair up or individually compete in the 7th Aquathlon race at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa. Register at the Royal Sporting Club by 7.30am on the day for BD10 (members) or BD15 (non-members) and get stuck in to the one kilometre swim and six kilometre run around the resort.
