St Paddy’s Day Tue 17 to Fri 20 On the big day, March 17, celebrate at JJ’s for plenty of traditional Irish ‘craic agus ceoil’. Then, on Thursday, the Bahrain Irish Society celebrates its 40th anniversary with the St Patrick’s Day Ball at Diplomat Radisson Blu (BD40 for members, BD50 for non-members). Finally, chill out on Friday at the Bahrain Rugby Club’s Paddy’s Picnic featuring a kid’s parade and live music by local bands. It’s free for members to enter and BD2 for non-members.
The Chuckle Club Wed 18 to Fri 20 Comedians Johnny Pemberton, Andrew Ryan and Jojo Sutherland are flying in for a stand-up tour of Bahrain starting at the Bahrain Rugby Club and moving on to the British Club and InterContinental Regency Bahrain.
