The annual, month-long awareness campaign for breast cancer officially kicks off in Bahrain with a Pink Party at The Ritz-Carlton’s Overlook where pink beverages and a buffet are on offer while you enjoy the DJ’s tunes. Bahrain’s biggest gaming convention is back in town for two days only, along with international celebs such as WWE wrestling legend Booker-T, cosplay personality Riddle, and famous voice actors Adam Harrington and Dave Fennoy. The popular annual cosplay competition is going on, as well as gaming tournaments, stage perforamances and a variety of other family-fun activities. Head to Words BookstoreCafe where local photographer Moe Ramadan is hosting workshops on three Saturdays. It’s aimed at beginners looking to improve their photography knowledge and skills, covering the technical aspects of your manual camera. The workshops run from 3pm to 4.30pm and costs BD66 in advance. You’ll need to take your own camera. Another workshop called ‘Photography 2.0’ takes place on the 3rd and 10th from 5pm to 6.30pm and costs BD44.
