Jasper, Big Gin and Ugly Mama are pets in search of a new home
Time Out Bahrain staff
Time out Bahrain has, once again, teamed up with Tony the Dogfather's Animal Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehoming Centre in the hope that our generous readers can help find loving homes for some of the abandoned animals patiently waiting for their forever families.
Please remember too, most of the animals we've featured still need long-term help and sponsorship if for any reason they are unsuitable for rehoming.
If you'd like to meet these boys and girls, or any of the other animals keeping Tony and his crew busy, call him on (39 629 889).
Jasper Hello, I'm Jasper and I'm sometimes sad because I get overlooked being an old man wiith a few health issues.
I came to Tony's when my family had to leave and decided I was too old to make the journey and, I have to confess, at first I was a bit of a grumpy old man. But I've got used to everyone here now and know I'm safe with Tony for the rest of my life. It would be lovely to have a sponsor to come and take me for short walks and give me cuddles and treats.
Big Ginq I got my name because I'm a big ginger Tom (there's a Little Gin too you know) and, as you can see from my picture, I'm a seriously laid-backk chap. I found Tony all by myself. I used to come and pinch the outside cats' food when he was at the old centre and, bit by bit, I became one of the gang and just moved in. Now I live in the big cattery but I'd love to have a home to call my own and my very own lap to curl up in. Could it be yours?
Ugly Mama My name sounds mean but I don't mind, my battered ears and scars show that I'm a survivor from my life on the streets. I arrived at Tony's hungry and very scared and quickly gave birth to a litter of babies, who were, of course, beautiful.
They've all found homes now, so I reckon it must be my turn to find a family of my own where I can continue getting used to the world.
