Meet the animals you can adopt from Tony the Dogfather’s ARC
Time Out Bahrain staff
I’m a very handsome chap of around three years, a lab/ridgeback cross so I have an interesting hairdo! I’ve previously been a pet and have been chipped and neutred but I was found wandering and repeated attempts to contact my family have been unsuccessful so we think they may have gone somewhere and forgotten me.
I’m a little bit shy in kennels but, once I’m outside I’m a bundle of fun. I walk well on the lead, am an obedient chap and I love to play so I’ll certainly keep you active.
Will you be my new playmate?
You’d never know it to look at me but I’m 14 years old and I’ve got the paperwork to prove it. I’m a sprightly chap though and I like plenty of exercise to keep me in good condition. I’m at Tony’s because my people went back to UK and couldn’t take me with them and I’m pretty happy here. I’m not keen on being indoors but must have access to an airconditioned area during summer – mustn’t we all – and I’d really like to find a loving family to share my golden years. Could yours be the one?
I’m a classic spaniel girl aged four and, like many of my breed, I have a few little issues but the guys at Tony’s have been working with me and I’m getting there. I’m almost ready to find my forever family but it’ll need to be with an experienced dog owner as I’m rather shy and I need someone who will help me get used to the world and start to build my trust. I’m not ready to go home quite yet so my new human will need to be prepared to come to Tony’s every week and get to know me so we can bond and I can gain a bit more cofidence before I leave here as I will need to gather all my courage for a new adventure. Are you the one to help me on my way.
Look at my face and try not to fall in love, go on, I bet you can’t do it. I’m a very pretty young lady of around six to eight months and I’m used to people so was probably somebody’s pet before I was found tied up outside one of Tony’s volunteers’ homes – I guess my former people must have known I would be looked after.
I’m settling in well here but would love to have a family of my own. I’m eager to please and love learning new tricks – you can see me here giving my hi-five.
Could you teach me?
