Meet the animals up for adoption at Bahrain's animal rescue centre
Time Out Bahrain staff
Tiny I’m so new that I’m still in quarantine and didn’t even have a name till the photographer lady showed up and what fun we had – I really wanted to be in Time Out but the sitting still bit for the picture was slightly beyond me.
I’m a very gorgeous little boy and they’ve christened me Tiny as I’m so young, around six weeks, but I think there might be a bit of German shepherd in my background so I might well outgrow my name.
I’m waiting for my first lot of inoculations before I can join the gang here – I don’t know what those are but if it means I can meet some other dogs, I’ll be happy. These ducks don’t make very good playmates. Would you like to join in my games. If you’d like to meet these boys and girls or any of the other dogs and cats keeping Tony and his crew busy, give him a call on (39 629 889).
Cleopatra Everyone says I look like one of those sphinx cats, hence the name. I reckon it’s just the ears myself but hey, being called after the Queen of the Nile’s no bad thing though my fellow felines don’t seem to have grasped my royal status.
I’m a very pretty girl, quiet and docile.
It takes me a little while to get used to new people but, once I do, there’s nothing I like better than having my chin and ears scratched.
Being so highly born you might think I’d shun common pursuits such as chasing string and batting scratch toys but I’m quite a down to earth girl really – just don’t let the others know.
Marmalade First things first, I have to tell you that I have a little problem. I suffer from cat flu, which makes an appearance every now and then. But, I respond well to antibiotics and it’s not harmful for humans should you decide I’m the boy for you.
I’m everso friendly, they had to prise me off the photographer, I thought she’d come to take me home.
I’m a lad of maybe a year and a half and I’ve spent much of my young life at Tony’s. I’m pretty happy here but I’d love a home of my own where I can be the centre of attention and, in return, I’ll make you the centre of my attention too.
If you’re worried about the cat flu, give Tony a call, he’ll tell you that it’s really not a problem.
Biju I’m an exceptionally beautiful long-haired girl so I do need to find an owner who’s happy to help me out with the grooming to keep me looking my best.
I’ve been at Tony’s quite a while now. I came with my brother Doctor No, (can’t think where these humans come up with these names) but he’s since found his forever family and I’ve been a wee bit shy since he went away.
However, my natural curiousity usually gets the better of me and I can’t help coming over to say hello when someone arrives in the pen.
Why not come and visit me and see if I could be part of your family.
