Don’t miss the big switch-on at these festive events
Time Out Bahrain staff
OK, we know there’s not much chance of snow and even a bit of rain might be pushing it. But festive weather aside, which most of us rarely see in our homelands anyway, Bahrain really does love to do Christmas. Whether it’s because so many people are away from home, which makes us all get together more than we would if surrounded by family, or whether it’s just that Bahrain loves to party, there’s no doubt that spending the festive season here is really special. And we’ve come up with lots of places to go and things to do to make this Christmas (and New Year) a real cracker.
Tree lighting and more Nothing quite says Christmas like decorating the tree with a glass of mulled grape or hot chocolate. Unsure that she would be able to buy them here, our editor even brought her box of tatty but much-loved Christmas decs from home.
Why not take the big switch on one step further and maybe introduce a new festive family tradition with a visit to one of the many Christmas tree lighting ceremonies around the island.
