Nightwish The iconic metal band from Finland are known for having revived the symphonic metal genre before achieving mainstream success by introducing Celtic and medieval elements into their music. Scorpions The Scorpions return to Byblos by popular demand following the enormous success of their last visit in 2011. One of the biggest bands of all time, Scorpions have set the blueprint for power ballads with anthems like ‘Still Loving You’ and ‘Wind of Change’ and have rocked audiences around the world for more than 40 years. The best of the rest Mika at Jounieh Festival The Lebanese-born British singer returns to his roots to tour his latest album The Origin of Love which was inspired by the near death of his sister Paloma who fell from a window and was in hospital for almost a year. Sounds melancholy but Mika assures that the record is actually fun and more pure pop than his last offering. We reckon the guy who gave us ‘Grace Kelly’ can’t go far wrong. Mika at Jounieh Festival.
