F+F If you’ve ever shopped at Tesco in the UK, you’ll recognise this brand which does men’s, women’s and kids’ wear at really reasonable prices. Stock runs the gamut from basic shorts and tees to smart workwear, shoes and accessories. The Bahrain store is a standalone of the clothing brand (we might have to wait a bit longer for the supermarket to catch up) and seems to have a constant sale going on which makes the, already low, prices a complete steal. Open daily. Seef Mall (17 162 120).
Hackett HACKETT London designs and sells men’s and boys’ luxury clothing and accessories. It was founded in 1979 in London, UK, by Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings who teamed up after meeting while rummaging for classy second-hand clothing at the English capital’s famed Portobello Market.
Over the years the brand has become a major sponsor of sporting teams and events such as polo, tennis and motor racing and founder Jeremy Hackett actually made his red carpet entrance at the opening of the Bahrain store in an Aston Martin reflecting the brand’s sporting and high-end connections.
