Formerly named the Hilton Bahrain, the Golden Tulip is a central five-star hotel. Guests can choose from smoking or non-smoking floors, and standard or executive accommodation, including reasonably priced suites. Most rooms overlook the Arabian Gulf and are decked out with cable TV, mini bar and internet access. The hotel’s facilities include a barber, beauty salon, business centre, a pool and gym. Unlike other five-star competitors, this hotel only has two restaurants; a Japanese and an Italian. Overall, though, the Golden Tulip represents excellent value for money.
