Spa delight
Be one of the first to check out the new spa at the Kempinski in City Centre. The official opening’s not scheduled till March but the doors will be open from today for early birds who want to check out the plush facilities and exclusive products. We haven’t been yet but it’s only a matter of time…

Autumn Fair
There’s still time to grab a bargain in the last couple of days of the island’s favourite shopping extravaganza. Now in its 23rd year the Autumn Fair regularly brings in 200,000-plus visitors in search of a range of bargains from toiletries and cosmetics to games, novelties and speciality foods. Entry is 700fils, kids under 5 go free.

Masqued ball
Get your gladrags on for the first ball of the year the Italian Grand Ball which promises a night of Venetian elegance and fun in true Italian style. It will be an event where the guests are not only spectators but active protagonists with a rich programme of dances, table games, classical music between courses, opera and surprises. After dinner will be the real highlight of the event when guests, who’ve had the chance to learn in advance from Italian period specialists, will open the dancing with group period pieces.
