Tango lessons in Bahran, Holi, Easter and the Amwaj Marina Market

Let’s tango Swingdance Bahrain, a group of people who get together to dance, are hosting a multi-award winning Colombian tango instructor, from Dubai, holding two-day workshops this weekend at the end of which you’ll have the basics on tango. The two-dayer is BD50 and there may be an option to just do a single day too at BD30. This one will book up fast as there are limited places so, if you’re interested, get in touch straight away. It’s the Indian festival of Holi which means the island’s large Hindu population – and lots of others who just love the who joyousness of the occasion – will be getting together to cover each other in colourful powder. There’s usually a big gathering each year but, as we went to press, details were unconfirmed so we’ll keep our ears open for details and post it on our website www.timeoutbahrain.com when we hear more.
