Toploader live at the Dilly Dancing in the Moonlight indie rockers Toploader bring their unique brand of twinkly summertime pop to the island to launch the new outdoor stage at the Dilmun Club. Potted history - the band did massively well in the early 2000s with a two-million-selling album before being unceremoniously dumped by their record label, becoming disillusioned and disappearing. Several years and one stag party later, they reformed and found that discerning musical tastes welcomed them back with open arms. In fact Dancing in the Moonlight, the song that launched them into the big time, was rereleased in July and hit the UK’s top 40 at number 27. Their Bahrain appearance will feature lots of new stuff as well as the old favourites. Support comes from the Revival Band, Mushkillaz and Past Masters. Toploader live, September 27. Tickets from BD20 from www.togetherinbahrain.com. Dilmun Club, Saar (17 690 926).
