Great Gatsby charity ball Thu 25 A ‘roaring twenties extravaganza’ is being held on behalf of The Palm Association charity at The Ritz Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa. The annual charity ball, which has been on hiatus for the past four years, is being held this year to raise much-needed funds to ensure the continuation of The Palm Association projects. Overall, the group of volunteers needs BD100,000 ever year to continue funding the Feed-A-Family, Project Rebuild and Education programmes. Royal Ballet of Cambodia Sat 27 This exciting performance by the world-renowned Royal Cambodian Ballet involves 30 artists including dancers, musicians and puppeteers, who narrate episodes from the Hindu epic Ramayana. They are particularly notable for their graceful movements and choreography so this is a must-see performance, taking place at the Bahrain National Theatre from 8pm.
Raise your paws and claws for a cause Sat 27 Animal welfare charity BSPCA is hosting a buffet brunch and auction at Upstairs Downstairs restaurant in order to raise funds for the pups and kittens they look after.
