Eid in Bahrain

Discount food, new restaurant and a spa deal for Eid in Bahrain

Crowne Plaza
La Mosaique will host a buffet lunch from noon-4pm at BD9.950++ as well as dinner buffet theme nights – steak night on the first and third day of Eid at BD15.950++ inclusive of unlimited selected beverages and seafood night at BD16++ on the second day.

Spices Indian restaurant will be offering a four-course Eid lunch or dinner set menu for all three days of Eid at BD9.950++.

And for those planning an Eid break, the hotel is offering a special room rate of BD60++ for single or double rooms per night.

Elite Crystal Hotel
The first day of Eid will see the opening of the much-anticipated Awtar restaurant at the Elite Crystal Hotel in Juffair.

It’s an Oriental-style venue which will pretty much double up as a club with a dance floor and DJ as well as live Arabic music and entertainment served up daily alongside a rich menu of drinks and tradidional Arabic and Oriental foods.

Sister to the hotel’s already hugely popular Klub 360, Awtar will make sure this one venue has all corners of the market covered with something for everyone.

Elite group food and beverage manager Najeeb Rihan promises: “Awtar willreflect a truly Oriental look and feel in every detail, from the interior design to the unique live music, the sound and lights, combined with the authencity of the food.”

Kempinski’s Pure spa

The spa is introducing a new treatment at Eid, the Middle East botanical infusion massage which promises participants will travel back in time to the gardens of Babylon using lavender and hazelnut oils for classic relaxation, apricot and grapefruit oils to detox or orange blossom oils to combat emotional fatigue. Sounds like the perfect way to end a month of fasting and contemplation.

Mercure Grand Hotel
The Mercure’s Eid offering is at Neyran restaurant, a Moroccan-style venue with sunshine colours and wooden decorations. There’s an extensive deluxe buffet of traditional Arabic cooking combined with Mediterranean and international dishes. Eid buffet BD12++.

Ritz-Carlton
Arabic dishes and international favourites at a special brunch on the second day of Eid at BD27 including selected beverages.

Royal Golf Club
There’ll be a full Links Carvery feast on the first day of Eid with prices the same as for the normal Friday carvery – BD14 for members, BD16 for non-member and BD8.5 for kids aged six to 12 with under sixes going free.

The club will also host the regular Ecco Monday Stableford golf tournament on the Monday of Eid. Normal green fees apply to non-members and the competition will tee off at noon with a shotgun start. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Sheraton Al Safir Restaurant
Al Safir will be offering a buffet lunch at BD18.5++ for adults and BD6++ for children over the three days of Eid with kids getting their own room with games, face painting, candy-floss, popcorn and minirides.

There will also be an international buffet dinner with the emphasis on Arabic cuisine from 7.30-11.30pm at BD13.900++.

And diners at both lunch and dinner will be treated to Arabic entertainment.
