A laugh a minute
The Chuckle Club from Punchline returns to the InterCon with performances from a bunch of stellar comics.
Mark Dolan is a comedian, TV presenter and writer who’s fronted a range of popular TV shows over the last decade including Channel 4 documentary series The World’s...and Me, the seminal Channel 4 hit comedy show Balls of Steel and C4’s Mad Bad Ad Show, alongside Micky Flanagan and Mark Watson.
Mark also spent five years as the writer and presenter of Sky TV’s flagship movie show 35mm.
He’s written a bestselling book and is active on the stand-up circuit as resident MC of Soho’s legendary Amused Moose comedy club and at various festivals.
Michael Fabbri is another gifted stand-up who performs regularly at some of the UK’s best-known comedy clubs and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Completing the bill is Mitch Benn who’s not only one of the most sought-after acts on the comedy circuit but is widely acknowledged as one of the best writer/performers of comic songs in the UK and a regular writer/performer on several radio shows.

They were one of the island’s most popular bands during their last residency at Dublin’s and now they’re back with a few new faces but the same rockin’ vibe and a set that will have everyone joining in and dancing along.
Canadian rockers Evolver return to the Juffair venue for another stint, expect some brilliant fun-filled ‘jam with the band’ nights if their last visit is anything to go by.

Dublin Club turns four with a big birthday party. Music from the resurrected Evolver and DJ Conny plus cake and bubbles all round. We’re liking the sound of that.

Pink & Amy Winehouse at JJ’s
Well, obviously it’s not the real ones. A, they’re massive artists and B, one of them’s dead. However, if you’re a fan of either or both then you really want to be at JJ’s to see Vicky Jackson’s tribute to two of the most popular performers in the music world.
Get the party started with Pink and expect lots of favourites from Wino for a night that’s bound to have the crowd joining in...very loudly, this is JJ’s after all.
Vicky’s actually making a return visit to the island after bringing the house down on her last appearance, so this promises to be a cracking night.

Hot in the City
All month those nice people at Bizarre Lounge have been running a special promotion for the ladies.
Not only do girles get a special price on their beverages but each week one fashionista is judged best dressed with lots of fabby fashion-type prizes to be won.
And, on the last night of the month, they’ll be announcing which lucky girl is being crowned fashionista of the month and taking home yet more super-cool, designer fashion stuff.

Veld Music Festival
Get ready for something special to mark the end of the month down at the Marina Club.
Luxury Events is planning to bring in six international artists - Grammy and MTV Music awards winner, Basshunter, Alex Mica, Adrian Sina (Akcent), Mr Sax, electronic giant Sharam Jey and Clarita De Quiroz.
They’ll be taking to the stage for a night of glamour and music that will run into the early hours with special promotions throughout the evening.
