Shifting Gears Location: Coral Bay The 10th annual Shifting Gears returns to Coral Bay for a night of cutting-edge music with DJ maDJam (Ahmad Ajam) from Beirut, spinning a unique blend of house and techno.
He’s played some of the biggest club nights and events in the region so expect a great start to the F1 weekend. Warm up comes from local favourite DJ Miled.

Prestige Party Location: Muju, Dragon Resort Taking a new approach this year, the team at Muju are bringing in all female collective High on Heels. They’re a group of women musicians put together by UK DJ Miss Kelly Marie. She’s joined by Jazz on percussion, Kyra on vocals, Yasmin on sax and Rosie on violin.
They’ll be performing for this weekend opener with a difference, which runs from 3-11pm, at the Muju waterside terrace and we’re expecting something along the lines of the Cafe del Mar experience.

Hot in the city Location: Bizarre Lounge There’s a special edition of Hot in the City this month to mark the Grand Prix and it’s combined with the regular meeting of Internations - the group where people from all over the world get together to socialise and network. They’re usually closed events but, in honour of the F1, everyone’s welcome to join DJ Billie on the decks for a great evening of F1 pre-party fun.

Friday April 19
WTF VIII Location: Klub 360, Elite Crystal Hotel Defected in the House featuring Junior Jack, Kid Creme and Andy Daniel returns to the island for 360’s F1 weekend opening.
It’s along the lines of the regular WTF (Where’s the Fun) nights but amped up with the presence of the world-renowned house music brand.
This is where you’ll find lots of the island’s pretty people chilling out behind the velvet ropes and looking very cool.

Head Over Heels Location: Coral Bay For the big race weekend they’re bringing back HedKandi with the really popular DJ Sarah Louise and support again from DJ Miled.
Pretty much an F1 beach party, it doesn’t get much better than this as you get in the mood for the race.

Saturday April 20
The Grand Stand Experience Location: JJ’s This is a welcome departure for those who want something a bit different from the big-name DJs. JJ’s plays host to Bahraini rockers Ossia, the ever-popular Paddyman is visiting from Dubai, and that’s always a hoot, plus house band The Noise will be on hand to make sure everyone has a really good time. We reckon it’s the ideal place to head after a busy day at the track..

Sunday April 21
FTV Grand Prix After Party Location: Coral Bay The infamous FTV after-race party returns to Coral Bay so expect a return of the beach-side catwalk, the dancers and models and all good things FTV. With celebs and fashionistas expected to pour into the island for the big race weekend this could be one of the major events to be seen at.
Music will be coming from star DJ Jojo, who’s used to entertaining the beautiful people as resident at Sky Bar, Beirut.

WTF IX Location: Klub 360, Elite Crystal Hotel Tonight’s big one from the Elite guys is DJ Stephanie Loayza accompanied by violinist EstherAnaya.
Together the pair have performed at red carpet events all over the world and they’re well known for putting on a highly visual as well as hugely entertaining show. It’s a bit of a departure for Klub 360, which is usually firmly tied to the big name house DJs so expect a fun Grand Prix weekend closer with something a little bit different.

Bushido Location: Bushido Lips are sealed on what exactly’s going to be happening but the guys at Bushido are promising a very special guest DJ (could it possibly be a race driver?) to get the usual massive party started.

Armchair fans Location: Shift 7, Elite Resort & Spa If you want to soak up the atmosphere but haven’t got a ticket, catch all the racing action at Shift 7 the island’s favourite racing-themed bar where they’ll be airing the entire race, passing round complimentary snacks and you can even try a Grand Prix themed beverage.
