Superstar DJ confirmed as headline act for Bahrain F1 party
Big name DJ Calvin Harris will be joining Grammy-winning R&B star Ne-Yo at the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on April 19-21.
The Scottish-born singer, songwriter and producer will perform a set as part of the post-race concert at the Bahrain International Circuit, starting at 6pm on Sunday, April 21. It’s free to attend Sunday and three-day ticket holders.
Platinum-selling Calvin Harris burst onto the scene with his debut album I Created Disco in 2007 and has topped the charts around the world with his three albums to date. His most recent release 18 Months features chart-topping singles such as Feel So Close, his collaboration with Rihanna on We Found Love, and Let's Go – which features Ne-Yo.
"The opening races of this new season have delivered high excitement and high emotion so the momentum is building towards the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix," said BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa.
"Each year we have to outdo the excitement and the scale of entertainment that has gone before and bringing together Ne-Yo and Calvin Harris for the post-race concert is going to be a really big hit with the crowd to close our weekend of celebration."
