The team behind Farm Fest take over the stage for leftfield musical fun
Time Out Bahrain staff
The guys from Boho Baha, who bring us Farm Fest, are taking over one of the festival stages during the Eclipse Party on October 18. They’re showcasing home-grown talent and this is what they told us about their artists:
Pesus Rhymes + Zain Pesus and Zain are one of the few duos whose styles perfectly complement one another. Their acoustic sound is personal and intimate while making you feel like you’re at the centre of the universe with your own private show.
To Beloved Architect of sound, self-taught musician combining blues, funky progrock, Khaleh and Italian traditional songs. He sings about princesses, love, romance and other planets and says “I make my music to make ladies dance to it”.
Mo & Iba Percussionist and guitarist, Iba, and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist, Mo, team up to deliver one of the best unplugged experiences you’ll ever hear. Expect a combination of great music and awesome stage presence.
The Awesome People Bahrain’s own supergroup. Made up of six incredible multi-instrumentalists who’ve got a serious mission, to make you shake your booty. Be prepared for a full brass section, multiple vocalists and some serious boogying.
The Legends Home-grown roots reggae from Bahrain. Fan favourites The Legends have been building up steam over the past few months showing everyone there’s room for some serious reggae on the island. If you’ve seen them before, you’ll know what to expect, if you haven’t, you won’t know what hit you!
Atom Former Battle of the Bands winners take to the stage for the first time in 2013 for a special performance with a set of epic proportions.
Black Lime Six-piece experimental rock band. Their musical styles vary from classic to progressive and orbit rock, grunge, metal and all things alternative. With band members from the UK, Finland, Poland, India and Pakistan, Black Lime have a line-up as eclectic as their music.
