You’ll be laughing out loud with the comics at this month’s edition of the Chuckle Club.
Multi- award winner Moloney has been a professional comedian for more than 20 years and has headlined all the big-name clubs including London’s Comedy Store.
He’s a television favourite who’s appeared on shows such as ‘Just For Laughs Roadshow’, ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, ‘The Wright Stuff’ and ‘Grumpy Old Men’, to name just a few and was included in British television station Channel 4’s Top 100 Stand-Ups.
A two-time winner of the Best Live Performer award at the London Comedy Festival, he’s played festivals from Melbourne, Australia, to Canada and Dublin, Ireland, and Don Ward of The Comedy Store had this to say about him: ‘John Moloney is one of the most creative and professional comedians I have had the pleasure to work with - quick off the mark - John will have had the audience laughing three times in the time that it takes any other comedian to say “hello”.’
Steve Shanyaski This guy is described as: ‘A bucket load of charm and some surreal and silly material coupled with his brilliant comedy songs make Steve the ideal booking for any evening.’
Combining surreal observations with wildly tangential imaginings, his off-kilter set pieces have audiences fully immersed in ‘Stevie World’ as he leads them, Pied Piper-like down the charming avenues of his inner mind.
Steve is a long established and popular headliner, regularly closing at Jongleurs, The Stand, The Glees, The Frog and Bucket and many of the UK’s other top comedy nights.
He’s another multi-award winner who’s also a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he consistently delights both audiences and critics alike winning rave reviews and having the audience in stitches.
Christian Reilly Christian’s first comedy gig was playing Orson Carson, guitar-wielding sidekick in the Perrier Award-winning ‘Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw’. He has since gone on to use his accomplished musicianship, extensive vocal range and love of music to establish himself as a global comedy circuit headliner; appearing at international festivals, on BBC radio and TV and on the Chortle Award-winning ‘Richard Herring: As It Occurs To Me’. He has recently returned from a critically-acclaimed sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
One audience member said: ‘Like watching Jack Dee and Bill Bailey simultaneously... Ii don’t think I’ve ever come so close to hyperventilating with laughter.’ Chuckle Club, Bahrain Rugby Football Club, Wednesday, February 19, The British Club, Thursday, February, 20, InterContinental Regency Bahrain, Friday, February 21.
