About the Time Out Bahrain Restaurant Awards
Welcome, ladies and gentleman, to the 2011 Time Out Bahrain Restaurant Awards.
Time Out’s elite team of food critics and gluttons have eaten their way around the island – from every tiny back street to every high end hotel – to find the very best restaurants Bahrain has to offer. And selecting them has been no easy task.
These awards are the culmination of hundreds of dishes and hours of debate from the Time Out team. Time Out reviews restaurants independently and pays for all its own review meals. Our journalists are not influenced by advertising spend in the magazine or big reputations, so the opinions in our reviews are honest and practical.
The 2011 Time Out Bahrain Restaurant Awards will be held on November 22.
To see the restaurants nominated for each of the categories in the awards, check the shortlists below. Each category has been narrowed down to the finest the city has to offer. Another award, the most prestigious of them all, the Restaurant of the Year, will be announced on the night – for which there is no shortlist.
