Great location, bright and warm atmosphere, fabulous food served on sturdy chopping boards, juices and sandwiches a speciality, a great selection of mouthwatering mains, Parisian-style interior, al fresco dining in the gorgeous kooky courtyard, shisha available, the place for a long, lingering lunch.

I love the shrimp spaghetti, it is my all-time favorite (I get extra shrimp) the soups are very delicious. I always get the fresh fruit drinks they are always nice and cold when they arrive at the table. Yes I have experienced a little hesitation with the wait staff but ask for Dollar he is very responsive to non-Bahraini clientele.

im surprised timeout gave it such a good review, the only thing good about it was relax environment to hangout thats it, food was pathetic wife had the grill chicken which was overcooked felt like leather and doused in gravy to hide it, i had the pepper steak and if u know anything bout steak please dont order one at coco's, substandard meat quality and again floating in gravy never seen so much gravy on a steak.

I am there every weekend. I love their food & I just can't get enough of it. The Seafood Risotto, the Grilled Chicken & their Greek salad are all to die for, I highly recommend those dishes, including their Sandwiches & pastas. Oh & their Chicken Corn Soup. They also serve the best Ice Tea Peach. Don't miss out on trying their Coco's dressing (Balsamic Vinegar).
I agree with most of you when it comes to waiting & the bad service, but it's so worth the food by the end of the day & the minimal price you pay. There are some selected timings where its easy to get a table, I'll not share to avoid having you crowing the place for my friends & I!
I've repeated many & many times to the Owner whenevr I see him there that he should so open a new branch.

Ok,The food in this restaurant is very good mostly, however like other comments regarding service,it is TERRIBLE! Ive never been there and had decent or even mediocre service..You get flatly ignored from the second you arrive, have to go and get your own menu's cos if u wait..it will be forever.
Then to actually place an order...well thats another story..The staff really need to improve their manners for this to ever get good reviews for service..they are letting themselves down badly..I dont klnow why they think they can get away with this bad behaviour? Is it because they know they are busy every day and if you dont like the service then tough? Im not sure of the reason but the staff in general are very very rude and unprofessional..It lets down what is really a nice little place to eat..Minus staff!

Terrible service..they leave u waiting and waiting for the menu..then wait some more for the food..then never get the bill until u ask and ask and ask and evetually have to go in to get it yourself..shame they dont employ some staff with a bit more intelligence.

As with most places that have dined in, here in Bahrain, the service was Horrible, with a capital "H!" The food was defiantly amazing, but at the price you pay, mediphorically speaking, in most cases doesn't seem worth the hassle. I don't really see myself going there, unless otherwise volun-told to for work purposes.

The worst customer service EVER, the waitresses pretend like they didn't hear you calling them, they mix the orders, the food takes more time that it should, and they give you that look instead of smiling.
The food is good, and i gave them more than one chance because my friends likes it, till last time,, i went there, they serviced my soup 10 minutes after the get the meal,, that was the end between me and Coco's

The place has the best food! Salad, main course or soups its always amazing! Service is pretty good and i never had a slow service experience. As a matter of fact sometimes its so fast that i would be halfway through my soup when my salad and main course arrive!!

Good luck finding a free table during lunchtime! Or the weekend!! One thing that sux is that they don't reserve tables.. which i completely understand.

Frankly I'm surprised this place got any positive reviews. It is notorious for having the worst service among all similar restaurants in Bahrain. The setting, ambience, pricing, and the food itself are all decent to quite good, but the service is so bad that everything else doesn't matter because your experience as a client is so poor. The waiters are flatly rude, huffing and scowling as they seat you, take your order and then deliver it late. Normally with such subpar service I would never return to a restaurant. The only reason I have been more than once is when I am within a group who elect to go and I don't want to dessent. In every occassion it is always a running joke that you have to set your expectations for service so low that you are simply happy they didn't insult you. For some, the setting and prices make it worth it, but for me there is nothing that justifies such atrocious service. Just to be clear I am an easy-going guy, polite in general, and especially so to waiting staff who have a tough job. I generally tip well for decent service too, but Coco's is just in a league of its own, and not in a positive way. The service ruins the whole experience. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the neighboring restaurants in Adlia or elsewhere in Bahrain. As different as they are, I have only positive things to say about Hash House, Zoe's, Mirai, Mezzaluna, Cafe Italia, Upstairs Downstairs, Alareesha.

Excellent food. Timings mentioned above are inaccurate. They close for a break. In my experience waitress was indifferent, dismissive of an inquiry i made. Perhaps she was having a bad day, perhaps she was racist. Whatever, it was it spoiled my appetite to be treated so. But i go back for the food. Perhaps Coco should open another cafe or franchise it. All in all - excellent food.
