Forget a white Christmas and guarantee yourself sea views and, most likely, sunshine at this coastal hotel. Not what you may be used to on December 25, but with all the trimmings of a traditional Christmas lunch it will still feel festive. BD20. Noon-4pm.
Two distinct festive meals will be served up at Elite Seef Residence on Christmas Day. At lunchtime, casual poolside restaurant Il Giardino will serve a festive brunch and in the evening guests can opt for a Yuletide barbecue at the Oasis level. From BD15. From 12.30pm and 7.30pm.
The Ramee Grand’s award-nominated lobby restaurant will do its best to squeeze in a live band, kids activities, turkey buffet and, we dare say, a large amount of seasonal cheer into your Christmas Day. BD 20++. Noon-4pm.
Despite the Swiss heritage, we’re not expecting much snow at this international buffet. There will, however, be separate sittings at lunch and dinner and Christmas dishes from around the world. This Juffair buffet specialist is one of the newer restaurants on the block, having previously been known as La Cascada. At just BD9.5 for a festive brunch it is a value option which could well start a whole new tradition for residents of the neighbourhood. BD9.5. Noon-4pm.
