Senor Paco's
Another of Bahrain's popular Mexican themed restaurants 3 Reviews
As you walk past an old bicycle in the back yard, and a water feature surrounded by bright green, yellow and red tiles, it’s pretty obvious you’re in Mexican territory at Senor Paco’s. Among the bull’s horns, porcelain musicians, sombreros and the same green, yellow and red colours inside, there is a tiny stage fit for hosting The Three Amigos if they decided to pop by.
Unfortunately, when the stage isn’t being used, the background music usually covers the likes of Steps and the Lighthouse Family. Not traditional South American entertainment as we know it. That said, the food provides entertainment on its own. The smoked barbecue ribs are delicious, not overpowering, and the meat falls off the bone with ease. Typically, the portions are huge, so maybe stay away from the filling fajitas if your appetite isn’t that big, although a tequila sunrise will help wash it all down for BD2.2.
