TribFest is back at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club. There’s a main event stage with tribute artists from the UK, as well as ‘The I Love Local Stage’ hosting Bahrain-based talent, and finally the after party stage with four tribute acts. Tickets cost BD15 (adults) or BD7 (children) and the event runs from 10am to 10pm. It’s BD5 (18 and over) for the after party.

Enjoy a ‘60s film screening in the white tent at La Fontaine Centre for Contemporary Art from 8pm, as Katharine Hepburn steals the limelight in Venice. The story tells of Jane Hudson, a secretary from Ohio, who embarks on a trip of a lifetime to the ‘city of romance’. It’s BD10, and you can use this credit in the restaurant.

Hawaiian barbecue and hula

A quintet of French Polynesian hula dancers are set to dazzle diners on the Trader Vic’s outdoor terrace every evening from 8pm. All week enjoy the performances alongside a three-course set Hawaiian barbecue menu for BD14.5++. Bookings are required.

Spanish gastronomic week

La Vinoteca Barcelona is celebrating its first anniversary with a gastronomy week. Experience special Spanish dishes while enjoying the entertainment by flamenco dancers. Prices depend on your selection and the restaurant is celebrating from noon to 2am each day.

Until October 11, celebrated Chef Sam Leong is featuring an exciting selection of Singaporean cuisine at La Mosaique restaurant. Then, Japanese Chef Takagi Kazuo is bringing his special dishes to Waves from the 12th until 25th. Finally, tasty pastries from Chef Dean Brettschneider are featured in Capuccinos Café from the 26th until November 1.
