Alternative music night heading to Juffair

The line-up includes two up-and-coming Bahraini artists

Alternative music night heading to Juffair

If you like your music to be more underground than the Dilmun burial mounds, you might want to clear your Friday night plans.

On September 13, three indie artists will be performing at the Player’s Lounge in Juffair, giving you the opportunity to brag to your friends about the amazing musicians you’ve just discovered with very little effort.

Organised by Museland, who aim to promote alternative music across the Kingdom, MuseNight features two local bands and a Saudi singer/songwriter to celebrate the promoters' 10th anniversary.

Zujaj, a Bahraini duo, produce music that mixes electronic beats, guitars and vocals with a Khaleeji touch, while OFFtrack’s music is “inspired by dystopian state of being in this disconnected world and ongoing chaos it entails”.

Jeddah-based Statues of Sinking Men, fronted by Abdulmalik Zubailah, creates electronic/alternative music.

If that sounds like your cup of tea, head to the bar between 8pm and 10pm for free entry, or BHD3 after that, with the night set to last until 1am.

Head to MuseNight’s Facebook page for more information: https://www.facebook.com/events/1408984005920828/
BHD3 (after 10pm). Fri Sept 13, 8pm-1am. Player’s Lounge, Road 4003, Juffair (6631 6666).
