With its convenient location in the Diplomatic Area, this Irish pub is a great little gem for anyone working in central Manama. Fiddler’s Green feels like a proper pub, with great food, a decent selection of hops and live music in the evenings. It almost feels like a home away from home.

Well known for its brunches, Harvesters’ is an excellent choice if you’re looking for pubs in Bahrain. It has traditional pub grub, a live band every night, and plenty of hops options. As a bonus, it has an excellent terrace where you can enjoy some pub grub in the sun while overlooking the pool.

JJ’s Irish Restaurant
This Irish pub is surely one of the most popular bars in Bahrain, thanks to its lively karaoke nights on Mondays. But you’ll get a warm welcome any day of the week, and the hops selection and food is top notch.

There are McGettigan’s dotted all over the Middle East, and it’s not difficult to work out why this pub chain has been so successful. The traditional food is great, as are the hops options, the pub always has the sport on and throws a fantastic brunch. The outdoor area at the Adliya branch is a particular highlight.

If you’re looking for a casual pub to while away a few hours, Polo Gastropub is a great option. Inside you’ll find screens to watch the game, fabulous food and plenty of hops. It’s a great choice if you’re in Adliya.

A pub that’s named after the famous fictional detective is obviously going to be a very British affair, with plenty of fish ‘n’ chips, pies and hops to satisfy any expat missing home. Located inside the Gulf Hotel, and in the heart of Adliya, it’s a great pub to start your night in, or to head to for after-work drinks. It’s also a great place to catch the game.

Named for the iconic football stadium, Wembley is also a typically British pub in the heart of Manama. It’s popular with British expats for the food and the hops.
