Time Out Says
On our latest visit, downstairs is a fairly quiet, but still lively, restaurant, filled with a mix of people enjoying typical Mexican fare such as tacos or quesadillas. But if you head upstairs, you’ll be greeted with ear-splitting music and large groups shouting at each other in an attempt to be heard.
If the latest tunes and mixed drinks are your jam, you’ll love the vibes here every Monday, when the team offer up a curated menu that changes week-by-week and the place feels more like a club than a bar.We opt to stay downstairs, but at no point did we feel like we were missing out.
The restaurant itself has great bar snacks to graze on, while you decide which of the 45 different kinds of Mexican short beverages or homemade sodas tickles your fancy.First launched in America, the chain has proven extremely popular, with six outlets in New York City and another in Detroit, with plans to launch in the UAE in the near future.
It’s not difficult to see why this place is crawling with people every night of the week, and you’ll want to head here with friends no matter what you’re in the mood for.
