Upstairs Downstairs

Handsome jazz bar with food and tunes in Adliya

Time Out Says

This handsome bar is more than just a jazz enthusiasts’ fantasy. Sure there is music every night of the week, but this is also a quirky space for an early evening tipple in the charming Adliya area.

For while the food is competently handled modern European with price tags to match, Upstairs Downstairs have cut customers some slack on the wine list which isn’t any more expensive than other bars in Bahrain. The cocktail list is full of unadventurous classics (and of course the ubitquous Bahrain bullfrog) but much like the venue itself, it doesn’t have to try too hard to impress; it just does.
