Warbler

Busy bar with music, pool tables and good pub food

Time Out Says

First off, let us say that we’re somewhat biased in favour of Warbler because, in our view, it does the best pies in town.

The rest of the food menu’s also pretty impressive too but, let’s face it, that’s not what we’re supposed to be talking about.

As a bar Warbler is also rather good though they don’t seem to have any concept of volume control for the band when it’s not busy – pop in for a mid-week pint and you can find yourself deafened.

However, it really comes into its own at the weekend, busy, lively and usually really good fun. There’re pool tables and a good-sized dance floor where you can make the most of the music and, we’re told, the new band is also pretty impressive doing a whole range of covers and requests.
