The chances of it actually snowing in Bahrain this Christmas are next to none ( but you know what they say, never say never).
However, you can enjoy the next best thing at Jumeirah Royal Saray this December once it transforms into a true winter wonderland.
From December 4 until January 2, the hotel’s garden will be covered in a layer of a fake snow, and there’ll even be an ice rink for you and your little ones to play on.
There will also be a snow fight zone, a tube slide, and a Santa’s grotto for you to visit.
If you need warming up after falling over on the ice, you can head to one of the various food trucks serving up festive treats and drinks in the hotel grounds.
Entry is BHD5 per person, excluding those under the age of five, with activities costing extra.
If you’re looking for more festive family fun, don’t forget to check out our dedicated Christmas page here.
On December 5, McGettigan’s will be throwing a party for the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree – and you’ll even be treated to free mince pies.
If you’re after something a little more adult, Upstairs Downstairs is throwing a festive event on the same day with free mulled and sparkling grape.
BHD5. Sat-Wed 4.30pm-10pm; Thu-Fri 4.30pm-11.30pm. Jumeirah Royal Saray, Seef (7770 7070).
