We’re not sure there’s anything more Christmassy than decorating a gingerbread house.
There’s just something about the peppermint canes and icing and everything in between that puts us in the festive mood.
And now your little ones will get the chance to try their hand at making their own at the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain next month.
On Saturday December 7, your kids will be given all the tools and goodies they need to build and decorate their own candy cottage.
They’ll don their creative hats and (real) aprons for the event, which will run between 4pm and 6pm, while you sit back and relax at the Gallery Lobby Lounge.
At the end of the workshop, which costs BHD12 per child, you’ll get to take your sweet treats home (just don’t let them eat the whole thing at once!).
Make sure you book in advance, as this event is bound to fill up quickly.
If you’re after more fun activities to try with the kids, don’t forget to check out our things to do page.
Later this month a musical performance of the The Tiger Who Came To Tea is coming to Bahrain’s Cultural Hall all the way from the West End.
And the Jumeirah Royal Saray will be turning into a winter wonderland complete with an ice rink from December 4.
BHD12. Sat Dec 7 4pm-6pm. Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain, Muharraq (1746 0017).
