Exhibition on Jurassic-era sea creatures coming to Bahrain

The showcase at the Bahrain National Museum will run from December 16 until March 16, 2020

If there’s one word that sums up dinosaurs, it’s definitely cool.

The Jurassic-era creatures fascinate kids and adults alike, thanks to their enormous size, the mystery around how they looked, and the fact that we can trace the lineage of modern animals back to them.

One of the best museums in the world for exploring learning about dinosaurs is undoubtedly the Natural History Museum in London.

And now the Bahrain National Museum is set to play host to replica casts from the NHM’s marine fossil collections at a new exhibition.

You’ll get to see the ancient seas come to life with immersive CGI films and get to meet the creatures that swam in the depths 200 million years ago.

The exhibition, which is set to run from December 16 until March 16, 2020, is being supported by the British Council and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport through the UK-Gulf Culture and Sport programme.

Entry to the exhibition itself is included in the entry price for the Bahrain National Museum, which is BHD1.
