School art exhibition opens at Bahrain’s Studio 244

An art exhibition showcasing the work of gifted students from four public schools has opened at Studio 244 in Dohat Arad Park.

Bahraini artists Maissa Al-Suwaidi, Jamal Abdul Rahim, Areej Rajab and Mahmoud Al-Sharqawi worked with schools to improve their arts curriculum for the exhibition.

Artist in a School, which is a joint initiative with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and the Ministry of Education, opened on December 22.

The showcase will run until December 31, and is part of National Day celebrations.

The exhibition will be open from 4pm until 8pm from Sunday to Thursday and is free to enter.

Everything Else That She Is will be open until December 31, and was opened to coincide with Bahraini Women’s Day.

Bahrain National Museum also has an exhibition on Jurassic sea creatures, with replica casts from London’s Natural History Museum.
