Bahrain launches ten drawings in ten days challenge

Reinterpret these Bahraini heritage pictures

Bahrain launches ten drawings in ten days challenge

Feeling creative? Sat at home twiddling your thumbs looking for things to do with all this extra time? We might just have the challenge for you.

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) is calling on its social media followers to get arty with ten different pictures over ten days.

BACA will be posting a photograph on its Instagram story everyday before asking members of the public to reinterpret the image into an original artwork.

The pictures will reflect a slice of Bahraini heritage, and you can use any medium for your artwork - whether that’s paint, pencil, or even digital tools.

To submit your work to BACA, you need to post the picture on social media while tagging @culturebah and using the hashtag #10Drawings10Days.

The pictures will be posted at 1pm each day, and you have until 12.30pm the following day to take part.

The first picture, posted on Tuesday (April 14), is of Al Alawi House, which is part of the pearling path
