New exhibition of works by Lamees Alhassar comes to Bahrain

If seascapes are your thing, you should head down to a new exhibition in Bahrain opening next month.

Between Cities and Shores by Lamees Alhassar will be on display at Studio 244 inside the Arad Bay Protected Area and Park from October 1 to October 15.

Alhassar, who has also written a number of self-help and science fiction books, uses her artwork to spread her message of inner peace and optimism.
The charitable art exhibition is in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Environment.

Studio 244, which is where the event is being held, opened earlier this year. It has a number of waterfront units which host talks, workshops and exhibitions, and two artists’ residencies.

The space “aims to highlight the significance of the site as a natural reserve and enrich the visitors’ experience”.
October 1-15 4pm-8pm. Studio 244, Arad Bay Protected Area & Park, Muharraq (no number).
