New exhibition celebrating visit to Korea by Bahraini photographers opens

From the beautiful gardens of the Changdeokgung palace, to the views from the top of the Lotte World Tower, there’s plenty of gorgeous things to see in Korea.

And a new exhibition featuring pictures taken by Bahraini photographers hopes to celebrate just that.

The Beauty of Korea showcase, which will be opened on Tuesday September 24 at 11am, will see 60 images from eleven snappers put on display.

These include photographs taken by Her Excellency Shaikha Hanan bint Hassan Al Khalifa, who is president of the Bahrain Photo Club.

You can visit the exhibition, which is being held at the Dome of the Avenues, between September 24 and 30 during regular mall opening hours.

Beauty of Korea is being organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Bahrain Photo Club under the patronage of His Excellency Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa.

Each of the snaps were taken by the group of photographers during a visit to Korea in 2016.
Free. Tue Sep 24 11am-10pm; Wed Sep 25-Thu Sep 26 10am-10pm; Fri Sep 27-Sat Sep 28 10am-midnight; Sun Sep 29-Mon 30 10am-10pm. Dome of the Avenues, Manama (1715 1060).
