Restaurants in Bahrain are set to remain delivery and takeaway only until at least May 7, it has been announced.
The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) extended the closure at a press conference last night. Restaurants have been restricted to just external orders since March 18.
Cinemas, gyms, swimming pools and other centres for recreational activities will also remain closed.
Under the new measures, retail shops, which were open between April 9 and April 23, will also be closed, with exceptions for grocery stores and pharmacies.
