Time Out Market Bahrain reveals 5 additions to all-star lineup

The excitement continues, friends.

As we draw closer and closer to the opening of Time Out Market Bahrain later this year, further additions have been made to its fabulous lineup of award-winning chefs, rising restauranteurs and much-loved local gems.

Time Out Market Bahrain is the next to join the network of markets worldwide by the end of this year (the first launched 10 years ago in Lisbon).

From modern Middle Eastern cuisine, to authentic Persian or Japanese-inspired food, plus casual options like burgers and more, there’s a dish that caters to every taste. Whether hunger strikes at breakfast, lunch, dinner or any time in between, this culinary hotspot will be calling.

With five vendors already announced, we now have five more revealed to join Time Out Market Bahrain.

Doña by Margarita Mexicana

Time Out Market Bahrain - Vendors Batch 2

The Kingdom’s very first fine-dining Mexican restaurant, Margarita Mexicana, is launching a whole new concept at Time Out Market Bahrain. Enter Doña.

On the menu, you will find a fiesta of mouthwatering, vibrant dishes like sizzling fajitas, zesty tacos, cheesy quesadillas and homemade corn tortillas – with many ingredients sourced directly from Mexico.

Margarita Mexicana first opened in 2009 in the iconic Gulf Hotel Bahrain having won Best Latin American restaurant by Time Out Bahrain in 2020.

Eathai

If booking a flight to the bustling streets of Thailand isn’t quite in the books right now, an authentic Thai restaurant in Bahrain is really the next best thing.

Eathai is joining Time Out Market Bahrain, bringing traditional cooking styles and dishes that will basically transport you to Thailand.

Expect classic bold flavours in everything from perfectly crisp spring rolls to the iconic Tom Yum soup and more.

Kāju

A new concept exclusively created for Time Out Market Bahrain by The Gulf Hotel, Kāju merges regional Indian flavours with a modern touch.

Here you’ll experience a unique take on mixing tradition and contemporary Indian cooking techniques, leaving you with richly spiced classics to lighter fare. We’re here for it.

SOUL

Hailing from Zayed Town, popular burger joint SOUL just the star-studded list of vendors at Time Out Market Bahrain. With Fatma and Chef Fadwa Almotawa behind the concept, you know it’s a must-try.

Expect all the comfort food here including smashed angus beef burgers served on brioche buns, Asian-twisted chicken and beef burgers, plus crispy golden fried chicken burgers. You’ll find carefully curated unique flavours and house-made condiments here.

Zen by China Garden

Coming in hot with another brilliant concept is China Garden, bringing Zen to Time Out Market Bahrain. Here you can expect a fabulous array of Cantonese, Szechuan and Peking specialties brought to your table.

All dishes here will be crafted by a team of renowned Chinese chefs under the leadership of Chef Wang. China Garden – which opened in the Gulf Hotel Bahrain in 1996 previously won Best Chinese Restaurant in Bahrain by Time Out Bahrain. Get ready to dig in.

About the space

Time Out Market Bahrain will span over 3,000 sqm featuring 11 diverse kitchens, dessert counters, a coffee hub, a stage for entertainment, and a fabulous al fresco rooftop seating area. The main entry to the Market will be via Le Meridien Hotel.
