Water park for children opens in Amwaj Islands

The first water park for children under the age of 12 has opened in Amwaj Islands.

Oasis Splash Park, which is in the Lagoon Park, covers 1,780 sq m and has more than 30 different features including fountains, jet streams and mists.

Ali Foulath, the Acting Director of Tourism Marketing and Exhibition Management of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, said that the park is set to appeal to both tourists and residents.

You’ll be able to buy family membership packages or pay on the day.

The news comes after the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay opened its water playground earlier this month.

That water playground has more than 30 interactive features including seven slides and a huge tipping bucket, and is shaped like a traditional Bahraini dhow.
