Sofitel Bahrain’s free family beach festival returns next month

The La Plage beach festival will be returning to Sofitel Bahrain next month – and families will get free entry.

The three-day extravaganza, which will run from February 20 until February 22, will see the hotel’s sandy beach filled with families enjoying free massages, magic shows and live entertainment.

There’ll be live cooking stations, too, and your kids can take part in plenty of activities with their friends while you relax at the event which runs from 1pm until 7pm.

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa last hosted its La Plage festival in October, and you won’t want to miss it – weekend access passes to the beach usually cost adults BHD30 and children BHD15, so this is a serious money saver.

And if you fall in love with the beach (and why wouldn’t you?), you can also sign up for La Plage beach club membership with 30 percent off the usual rate for couples and families.

We’ve also rounded up a list of all the best outdoor activities if you want to take advantage of the good weather.
Free. Thu Feb 20-Sat Feb 22 1pm-7pm. Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, Zallaq (1763 6363).
