Laptops donated to students across Bahrain’s Southern Governorate

Sixty laptops have been donated to students across Bahrain’s Southern Governorate to help with home learning.
Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa made the donation in response to a recent initiative by Al-Mabarrah Al-Khalifia Foundation.

The Al-Mabarrah Al-Khalifia Foundation hopes to help support students by giving them the equipment they need to study from home while schools are closed

To help parents with home learning, Bahrain TV Channel 2 (sports channel) is also broadcasting eight hours of educational programming every day.

So far, more than 145 lessons have been recorded in a mix of English and Arabic using four TV studios. The lessons are presented by a mix of teachers and specialists.

Plus, the Ministry of Education has launched a number of new tools to help teachers and students connect during this time.
