Bahrain kids encouraged to take part in UNESCO Little Artists exhibition

By now, kids across Bahrain have been home learning for two months, and the struggle to find new things to do is getting more challenging.

If you’ve got creative little ones, we’ve found the perfect activity to keep them busy.

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is encouraging youngsters aged six to 12 to take part in UNESCO’s Little Artists exhibition.

If you want to take part, you’ll need to create an artwork inspired by a World Heritage site – such as Qal’at al Bahrain, the Pearling Path, or the Dilmun Burial Mounds – and upload it on Instagram

You’ll need to include your name, age, country, and a short description of the artwork, and you’ll also need to use the hashtag #ShareOurHeritage and tag @unesco.

Full details about how to submit your entry are on the UNESCO Little Artists Exhibition call here

You have until May 17 to enter.

Have fun, and good luck!
