Bahrain foundation hands out more than 150 laptops

The AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has handed out more than 150 laptops to help students engage in remote learning.

The foundation’s initial target was to provide 100 laptops, but the group was helped by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, who donated 60 laptops, and KPMG Fakhro who donated 50 laptops.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said, “We also appreciate the donation of nine laptops received from AbdulRahim Al Kooheji Foundation and three laptops received from Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa.

“We value the contributors' high sense of social responsibility and their interest in supporting initiatives that invest in the educational sector and the Kingdom's bright future.”

The foundation is planning to launch other new initiatives for children in the coming months.
