Exclusive: Nick Jonas to join Gorillaz in the Middle East

While we’ve spent the last week with Gorillaz’s top 11 tracks on repeat, another major artist has been added to the line-up for Fiesta De Los Muertos.

Nick Jonas, originally of Jonas Brothers fame, has joined the bill for the Halloween festival taking place at Autism Rocks Arena on Friday October 27.

After starting off in youth theatre, Jonas was offered a recording contract as a teenager, and grouped up with two of his siblings to find great success working with Disney. He’s since found success as a solo artist, with his self-titled debut album featuring massive singles Jealous and Chains. Earlier this year, he also worked with Nicki Minaj on Bom Bidi Bom, the soundtrack to movie sequel 50 Shades Darker.

“After the first Fiesta 2017 artist announcements, we have had some fantastic feedback and to those fans wanting more stars, I think we have just delivered,” said Thomas Ovesen, CEO of 117Live. "This year’s best Halloween party is shaping up and with the current line up, I am sure fans will agree this is going to be a real fiesta once again.”

“I’m looking forward to Fiesta and to bringing a great show to Dubai for my first performance in the Middle East,” said Jonas.

Tickets for Fiesta De Los Muertos are on sale now, with prices starting from Dhs350. Gorillaz will be headlining the day, with Lebanese-Canadian R&B artist Massari and renowned Mexican quartet The Mariachis (of Doritos TV ad fame) also confirmed for the line-up.
Tickets from Dhs350. Fri Oct 27. Autism Rocks Arena, Dubai-Al Ain Road, www.117live.com
