Bahrain’s Southern Municipality launches free service to remove old furniture

The Southern Municipality has launched a free service to remove old furniture and other bulky equipment from homes.

The service, which is in its trial stage, is currently available to anyone over the age of 60 as well as those with special needs.

It is being organised in collaboration with Urbaser Bahrain, and you can contact the firm on 8007 0000.

If the trial is successful, the service will be rolled out across the Kingdom to stop furniture being dumped on the streets.
