Bahrain's BSPCA throwing 40th anniversary bash

For the past 40 years, the Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) has been helping our furry friends across the Kingdom.

And now the charity is inviting you to celebrate its 40th anniversary at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa on Thursday November 28.

From 7.30pm, you’ll be treated to a buffet dinner as well as selected beverages while DJ Vinyl Richie (not be confused with legendary singer Lionel) keeps you entertained.

The night will cost BHD22, with the money raised going towards the charity which relies on donations rather than government funding.

There will also be a cash bar for drinks not included in the price.

You’ll also get the chance to enter a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses including Saffron by Jena, Beach Culture and The Forge Gym.

BSPCA Chairman Mahmood Faraj said, “Forty years ago the BSPCA was established as a charity in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and we would like you all to come along and celebrate this impressive milestone with us.

“We could not have survived so long or made so much progress without the loving support and kind donations of time, funding, and collaboration - and this is an opportunity for us to say thanks to you.”

You can pick up tickets for the event at the BSPCA Shelter and Thrift Shop in Abu Saiba.
BHD22. Thu Nov 28 7.30pm. Awal Ballroom, Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa, Manama (6660 8901).
