Bahrain's Busaiteen beach walkway opens

A 2 km beach walkway in Busaiteen has now opened.

The walkway, which was opened in conjunction with Bahrain Sports Day, has 80 fitness devices and uses clean and renewable energy.

Once the BHD2 million project is complete, it will also include a public square, green spaces, restaurants and a 400-vehicle car park.

The walkway is aimed at promoting internal tourism and providing a new outlet for Bahraini families.
