Voting opens for photography competition Bahrainouna

Last month we revealed that Bahrain was running a competition to find the best photos and videos that reflect national value.

And now voting has opened for the Bahrainouna, or Our Bahrain, contest.

If you head over to the Bahrainouna website here you’ll find hundreds of photos to choose from, ranging from snaps of pottery in A’ali to Bahrain Fort lit up at night.

More than 500 photos and videos were submitted during the contest which ran from January 10 until February 8, and you now have until March 5 to vote.

The three winners in the photography and videography categories will be given cash prizes of up to BHD500.

The photos should reflect topics including belonging, loyalty, pride, appreciation and forgiveness.
