Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 ticket sales are set to be phased in a bid to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus, it has been announced.

The ticket phasing is to ensure “appropriate social distancing guidelines are met” at Bahrain International Circuit later this month.

The Bahrain Grand Prix is set to take place between March 19 and March 22.

Alongside ticket phasing, there will be screening procedure on entry, specialist medical facilities onsite, enhanced sanitation at the circuit, additional hand washing stations and information points for fans.

There will also be specific medical protocols to manage any suspected cases of COVID-19.

BIC has also said that it is prepared to refund the face value of tickets “depending on circumstances and updated medical advice”.
